HP Elitebook 2760P Convertible Specs Leaked to the Web

The advent of the Internet and ubiquitous broandband connections have made it nigh impossible to keep secrets about upcoming product releases, a fact Hewlett-Packard is finding out as news of its upcoming Elitebook 2560P and 2760P travel through cyberspace.

Both of these are built around Intel's Sandy Bridge architecture with several processor options, including a Core i5 chip clocked at 1.4GHz and Core i7 parts clocked at 1.6GHz and 2.7GHz. They also boast a 12.1-inch LED backlit screen with a 1366x768 resolution (optional 1440x900), up to 16GB of RAM, optional Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0 support, a DisplayPort, 801.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, eSATA, Intel GMA 3000 HD graphics, and Windows 7 in 32-bit or 64-bit trim.

The main difference between the two is that the 2560P follows a traditional notebook design, while the 2760P (pictured above) is a covertible tablet PC with multi-touch support. No word yet on price or availability, though we suspect HP will officially announce these new mobile PCs before long.
